Support Our Library

For the past 88 years, the mission of the William L. Clements Library has been to collect and preserve invaluable primary source materials, to make them available for research, and to create an environment that supports and encourages scholarly investigation of our nation's past.

Whether it is to track down an obscure document; locate primary materials for a scholarly publication, college paper or dissertation; discover sources for a museum exhibit; create a lively classroom presentation; or delve into the archives on a favorite topic of personal interest, researchers come to the Clements from around the world to use its breathtaking holdings.

Your support can make an immediate difference to a University of Michigan student or faculty member, an international researcher or a visitor who just drops in to hear a lecture or view an exhibit. Learn more about how to support the Clements Library.
