The Salomon family photograph album contains 55 photographs of friends, family members, and religious and political figures apparently compiled by the family of Haitian President Lysius Salomon.
Acquiring this album and making it available for research will benefit scholars of Haitian history. Conservation will include removal of photos, creation of facsimilies to replace originals, stabilization of the binding and torn pages, new housing for original photos, and a three-part wrap for the album.
