Young Folks’ History of the United States is a textbook aimed at children, encompassing the history of this country from its earliest inhabitants through the end of the Civil War. While illustrated throughout with wood engravings, this particular copy has also been embellished with a number of pencil drawings by a former owner on the front and rear leaves of the volume.
