Background
I’m a southeast Michigan native who’s always had a passion for history! I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2020 as a history major and then earned my Master of Arts in History (Public History) with a Graduate Certificate in Archives from UMass Boston, interning for Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site and the UConn Archives. I first started at the Clements Library in 2024 as a Digitization Technician and became Metadata Librarian in 2026.
Responsibilities
As Metadata Librarian, I work with digitized (or soon-to-be digitized) collections to create, update, and standardize metadata, which is used in our digital catalog to expand searchability and accessibility.
