I am a Digitization Technician in the Manuscripts division.
Background
I began working at the Clements Library in January of 2024. I earned my B.S. as a History major from Grand Valley State University in 2020. In 2022, I completed my M.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts Boston as a member of their Public History Track. I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Archives. Previously, I worked as an Archives Assistant for the UMass Boston Archives & Special Collections and fulfilled internships with the National Park Service and UConn’s Archives & Special Collections.
Responsibilities
My focus as a digitization technician is centered on the Henry Clinton papers, in which I’m responsible for several steps in the digitization process. This includes creating metadata, scanning collection materials, and post-production work.
