Beets, Henry. “Abraham Lincoln: Zijn Tijd en Leven.” 1909.

Beets, Henry. Abraham Lincoln: Zijn Tijd en Leven. Grand Rapids: J.B. Hulst, B. Sevensma, 1909.

Written by Dr. Henry Beets, a Dutch immigrant to America in 1886 and clergyman of the Christian Reformed Church. A proponent of Dutch American patriotism, Dr. Beets believed that the reading about the life of Abraham Lincoln would awaken his fellow Dutch Americans to their duties and opportunities as citizens. A noteworthy Michigan imprint.
