The Sioux City Corn Palace was a series of five large buildings constructed in Sioux City, Iowa, between 1887 and 1891 to celebrate the autumn harvest. These temporary structures were decorated with corn and other grains and hosted festivals that drew large crowds and included entertainment and political figures.
