Dr. Sir, / I have taken this oppertunity to / write you by Lieut: Nunn who comes / pasenger in a Mercht Ship from Salam / by leave to aquaint you that I have / drawn a Bill on you for fiveteen / pound payable to Mr: ^Charles Lyell or Order / and belive shall be obliged to draw / for Ten pound More Very soon wee / have had a bad Fever amongst the / ships Companys also amongs the / Inhabitants Carris of Many I have / not Escaped it but prety well recovrd / have been on shore five weeks shall / be able to goe on board to Morrow the / Faulkin & Nautiles is arriv’d, the Contents / of the Express is not Transpired the people / in the Countrey arming Them selves ripe / for Rebelion –
Hancock, Adams, the Printer / and Some More of the Leaders have / absconded, many more have Carryd / their Goods in the Country & Numbers / of the Inhabitants also have left / Boston – What the Event will be / must be God knows. please to / make my Compts to Mrs. Tyler wishing / you your health. shall send Logg / & Journal by first oppertunety / I am your Humbl Sert / John Westcott
