a. Planks will be wanted for Algiers. 1500 of pine (I suppose hard pine) and 1500 of oak (suppose white oak) each plank 6 inches thick & 44 feet long [no breadth is designated] Perhaps some of the planks at the yard may answer for Algiers. Of all these I send herewith a lift, the places and terms of obtaining which may be a Subject of Mr. Fox’s enquiry.
b. This service to be performed after he shall have made his report relative to the materials & building of the Algerine frigate.
c. ditto.
d.* copper bolts, & sheet copper for sheathing, and the terms for putting on the latter. [if there are other articles belonging to the public, which likewise go into the hull of the ship, these to be applied accordingly.]
