Over summer 2026, the Graphics Division processed and made available many collections. What follows are some highlights of the summer processing work.

The World’s fairs & expositions ephemera collection is filled with tickets, advertising brochures, memorabilia, and tourist guides documenting 27 fairs and expositions hosted in North America in the 19th and 20th centuries. Revolutionary War Reenactment Photographs, ca. 1920s

Did you know groups have been reenacting scenes from the American Revolution since 1788? While this set of photographs isn’t quite that old, it does show an early 20th century reenactment of the Revolutionary War. The collection consists of 44 views documenting a group of American Revolutionary War reenactors in the 1920s. The photos capture the group reenacting battles and other events, with group members dressed to represent both the Americans and British.

Company catalog and a printing block used to produce the catalogs for A.H. Rusch & Co.

A.H. Rusch & Co. Collection, 1907-2019 (majority within 1922-1950)

The A.H. Rusch & Co. collection was a recent gift to the library by a descendant of the company founder. Through company catalogs, the printing blocks used to produce the catalogs, and other ephemera, the collection documents a bee keeping supply company out of Reedsville, Wisconsin. The catalogs are a rich source of information for researching bee keeping practices in the early to mid 20th century, and the costs that went along with them.
